Who We Are

Menzah Bellota is an eco-lodge nestled in the heart of northern Morocco, just 15 minutes from Ouezzane and 45 minutes from Chefchaouen, offering a peaceful retreat between mountains, forests, and authentic rural landscapes. Surrounded by cork oak, myrtle, lavender, rosemary, and ancestral farmland, our location invites guests to reconnect with untouched nature in the Rif region

We are strategically positioned near the Brikcha Ecological Reserve, a protected SIBE (Site d’Intérêt Biologique et Écologique) and an essential part of the Mediterranean Intercontinental Biosphere Reserve (MIBR). This unique setting makes Menzah Bellota an ideal destination for eco-tourism, biodiversity discovery, and sustainable travel experiences.

Brikcha Ecological Reserve

Menzah Bellota is located near the Brikcha Ecological Reserve, one of the most important preserved ecosystems in northern Morocco. Closer to Ouezzane than Chefchaouen, this reserve is part of the Mediterranean Intercontinental Biosphere Reserve (MIBR) and holds official recognition as a SIBE (Site d’Intérêt Biologique et Écologique).

The reserve features centuries-old cork oak forests, diverse wildlife, medicinal plants, and landscapes shaped by traditional agricultural practices. Our eco-lodge actively collaborates with local stakeholders and environmental initiatives to promote sustainable land management, biodiversity conservation, and responsible tourism.

Abdelghani and Siham establish Menzah Bellota as a peaceful eco-lodge where travelers can reconnect with nature and explore northern Morocco’s authentic culture.
